July 2003 - We took our first family vacation this year to Bradenton Beach. We stayed at a condo which had a pool. The very first day we got there, we took Elizabeth swimming. This was the very first time she had ever been in a swimming pool. She seemed to enjoy it. The next day she wanted to go swimming again. As you can see, she really liked swimming and just relaxed. We then caught some rays poolside.

We took our best friends on vacation with us. They have an eight month old, Peyton. He is a true water baby. He loved the pool and was content to just float around all day long. He's a cutie pie and just loved to play and eat (just like his daddy!)

Elizabeth loves to play too! One of her favorite games is tent. The first photo (which is the July monthly Elizabeth photo) is her playing tent with me. The last photo is her playing tent again. The two middle photos are her eating pancakes for the very first time. She liked them, but I got the distinct feeling she would have rather had a hard boiled egg.

Elizabeth is a true beach bunny. She loved playing at the beach and walking along the shoreline in her fashionable glasses and pink hat. However, she is not too fond of the moving water in the gulf. So for now, we are content just to take long walks in the sand.
